Benedetto Rugani, Ph.D.

Benedetto Rugani (PhD) is an industrial ecologist with more than 15 years of experience in basic and applied research, with a focus on life cycle sustainability analysis, urban metabolism, nature-based solutions, ecosystem services and natural capital accounting of organizations and countries. He has been formerly Research and Technology Associate of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) for almost 13 years and is now Senior Researcher at the Research Institute of Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET) of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy, operating within one of the research spokes of the National Biodiversity Future Centre (NBFC).
